La barca era in perfette condizioni, davvero molto divertente e veloce.Il parco delle isole Kornati è un vero patrimonio da conservare. Rispettate il mare :-)

Il Dodecanneso è una destinazione eccellente per una vacanza in vela. Le isole sono ad una distanza media di circa 15 miglia l'una dall'altra, e quindi consentono tratti a vela brevi e non troppo impegnativi, sono molto varie e offrono molte opportunità di sperimentare una totale immersione nella natura con soste in rada, o viceversa l'immersione nella cultura locale con soste nei porticcioli o nelle marine. La Grecia e i greci sono super-ospitali e amabili, amano la libertà e quindi limitano il meno possibile quella altrui. Il Meltemi......bè prima o poi bisogna mettersi alla prova, no?

This area of Croatia is great for sailing: a lot of islands and bays, but also very nice villages and very equipped marinas. Trogir has a very nice marina and the magnificent old town is 5 minute walking distance. For us the pity was the poor maintenance status of the boat and quite poor service of the charter company. Check in was quite basic: I had to ask life vest for kids, enough plates and glasses and pans for 8, some connections for the water hose, some small ropes for fixing the paddles. All things I would have expected to be prepared in advance. The boat had quite some water (2-3 buckets) undertaker the floor that I had to dry myself (that's where you can do lots of stowage) and I also had to inflate the dinghy. I discovered after few days that there was no toolbox on board. During the cruise the water pump broke twice forcing ius to 2 1-day stops at a Marina for repairs. I also complained that the windlass was not working properly (very slow and blowing the safety switch every 15m of chain), but they asked someone to check and I was told I had to deal with it! The check out was done without any check - showing why the status of the boat was so poor. Regarding sailing destinations I suggest to get to Lastovo, very nice island, and to profit of the multiple restaurants that you find in most of the bays. I would recommend Marenauta to collect feedback on the charter companies and let these ratings appear.
