Excess 14 Catamaran Toulon to St-Tropez

What a lovely sail we had. Leaving Toulon with winds around 10-15 knots on Excess 14 was a joy ride even if we were used to monohauls and our own Bali 46 catamaran in Croatia. Poquerolles and Cros islands have beautiful harbors and we attached easily to buoys for a restful diner, swim and sleep. St-Tropez was great to see. Its beaches are famous and for a good reason. Dream Yatching charter and Marenauta were easy to deal with and boarding as well as disembarking was made easy with carts available without any problems. The boat itself was in great condition. We had absolutely no issues. Excess 14 was easy to handle and performed very well even in low winds. I love sailing in Croatia but I am considering chartering more often on the Côte d’Azur in the future. Michel Poirier

Hafen gut zu erreichen, Personal freundlich, Boot in gutem Zustand. Checkout am Samstag etwas früh (8 Uhr), aber ansonsten alles sehr gut.

Great Sailing Trip thru Tuscany Archipelago

Our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 519, though already built in 2019, was in good shape (engine, sails, batteries, interior). Handbook for the boat prep'd by Aladarsail Base in Scarlino was great (never seen so detailed before). We went on a 14-day-trip (12 days of effective sailing) with 8 people aboard, cruising Elba, Capraia, Corsica (East & West-Coast). Marvellous bays, great places to anchor, picturesque harbors and villages, great people. Wind conditions were mostly ok, partly 14/15 knots (good sailing), gusty around Cape Corse. Guess all in all we used Got visits from dolphins on our way. The team at Aladarsail Charterbase was super responsive and always helpful.

Albatros Yachting hat sich schnell und kompetent um uns gekümmert. Wir durften vorzeitig auf die Yacht und innerhalb einer Stunde wurde ein neuer Reisverschluss eingenäht, der so nicht mehr zu benutzen war, obwohl Pfingsten war und auch in Kroatien ein Feiertag ist.
