We hired a 34 foot monohull from Simple Sail out of Porto Montenegro, Tivat, Montenegro. This was just for two of us, my wife and I, and for a week. We had a skipper for two days to orient us to the boat and region and he was superb. He even came to give us a hand docking in some heavy winds and contacted us through the week to see how we were going.
It was great fun sailing Kotor Bay and out into the Adriatic. The winds were variable with some heavy and light days and the unpredictable northern winds. The region is beautiful and swimming is superb.
If you like fishing bring the gear or preplan for it as we did not find a place to hire gear.
Remember it is all stern docking in marinas so if you’re not used to it get some practice or use a skipper for a day or two.

Hallo, im Großen und Ganzen haben wir einen sehr schönen Segeltörn (der 15.) verbracht. Da wir unsere Routen selbst planen, gab es in dieser Hinsicht keine Probleme. Was mir aufgefallen ist, die Liege-Kosten in einigen Marinas sind unproportional gestiegen, auch an den Bojen! Kosten mit der erbrachten Leistung passen nicht.
Ja je bilo OK. Barka je imela neke težava, kot vedno drugače pa jadra OK, špaga od genove malo kratka ampak OK, boat truster kot če ga nebi bilo »švoh«. Dva hladilnika super, GPS se je malo zatikal pri komandah ampak OK, družba tudi OK, burje mnogo skratka OK.
