Sailing Yacht Perun (Bavaria C 40)

The boat was not cleaned when we took over. They apologized and cleaned the boat. The engine did not start because of a faulty panel which needed to be changed. After changing the panel, the cable boom apparently was the problem so that needed to be renewed. The pump of one of the toilets was very hard to use. The beds are really uncomfortable, it feels like lying on a wooden board for two weeks. The anchor chain connection was not good, we had to fix this with a hose clamb. The blades of the anchor where bended outside due to anchoring in rocky areas. So the holding of the anchor was very poor.

We had luck to book brand new Ocenais 34.1 "Ka Nani". Boat was excellent, weather was excellent and the whole experience with charter agency and marina Frapa was very good.

An amazing location for 7 days of magnificent boating. The Eolian Islands are truly spectacular, with plenty of places to swim, snorkel and play. The Islands offer amazing food, bars and site seeing options. Highly recommended.

Yacht was good even though it was older, had some minor problem with engine loosing water needed new header tank cap but just had to keep topping it up. other than that everything good. tool kit almost useless two screwdrivers , wire stripper and assorted sockets nothing else.
