As you yourselves stated, the boat had a minor incident, namely a 5×5 cm impact
on the left-side black plexiglass on the boat's cabin. The plexiglass had extended cracks from the impact, so we duly repaired it from the outside with black tape so the boat could go into charter, and ordered a new plexi from the factory. So it was not that "one side of the boat was wrapped" but only
the plexiglass surface measuring 20×140 cm.
The railing was not "patched with ropes"; instead, neat new ropes with a strong core were fitted in place of the broken cables—these have a load capacity of over 500 kg and adequately replace the cable.
We remained available to you and your skipper during and after check-in, and at her request we took the boat out of the marina because she did not feel confident doing so herself. The outboard motor was started during check-in in front of the skipper, and on the check-in document the skipper confirmed and signed that everything was fine with it. If the outboard motor caused you problems (regardless of the cause), the standard procedure is to notify the charter company and give it the chance to send you a replacement motor or arrange a repair at your location. Since you did not do this, you are not entitled to compensation.
We are sorry you were not satisfied with the service/boat, although we did everything to make your holiday enjoyable.
We wish you calm seas on your future voyages.
