All’accoglienza abbiamo perso 2 ore al mattino per la cauzione perché il sistema bancario cui si collegava l’ufficio della società di charter non accettava nessuna delle nostre carte, ne abbiamo provate 5; siamo stati sollecitati a prelevare di 3500 euro in contanti, per cui abbiamo fatto diversi prelievi con un totale di 20 euro di spese bancomat ; tornati dopo pranzo abbiamo però riprovato con una carta , che è stata accettata subito. Siamo così poi partiti con i nostri 3500 euro in contanti… Barca non recentissima ma perfettamente tenuta e molto ben equipaggiata; ottime prestazioni veliche; unico neo la batteria dei servizi andava in allarme ogni giorno e quindi necessitava dell’uso quotidiano del generatore per almeno due ore, con relativo costo di gasolio e fastidioso rumore, sarebbe da sostituire

Leider waren wir mit dem Vercharterer vor Ort nicht zufrieden. Das Boot war vermutlich dieses Saison das erste Mal verchartert. Jedes Mal beim Betätigen der Toilettenpumpe stank es bestialisch. Der Vercharterer hatte überall auf dem Boot Duftstäbchen platziert. das Problem war also offensichtlich bekannt. Am ersten Tag konnten wir noch nicht los. Der Außenbordmotor musste noch repariert werden. Leider funktionierte dieser hinterher nur kurz ohne Last und ging beim Fahren nach wenigen Sekunden aus. Wir kamen dadurch, bei stark ablandigem Wind, in eine brenzliche Situation. Paddel waren leider auch nicht an Bord.

Marenauta did a great job. Everything ordered was in place. Early check-in worked just fine. So we visited wonderful places. The ship is very reliable. However the cabins in the bow are a bit small and do not fit for 2 "bigger" persons. There were minor issues with the sheets (the main halyard did "leak", so the head of the main dropped back a bit). Otherwise all just fine.

Obwoht der Gibsea 43 schon etwas älter ist (2004), sind ihre Segeleigenschaften immer noch hervorragend: beim Überquerung von Kea nach Kythnos und weiter nach Syros schaffte sie mehr als 8 knoten, trotz Wellen bis 3,5 m. Mit 2 Badezimmer/WC ist sie für 6 Leute (die sich gut verstehen) ausreichend. Das 4e Doppelzimmer kann dann prina als Bagageraum funktionieren. Alles im allen: schöne Ferien!!!
