Quest’anno mi soni affidato a questa società di charter per incominciare ad esplorare lo stupendo arcipelago toscano, è stata una scelta felice perché i ragazzi del charter e il simpaticissimo Dario mi hanno confezionato la barca in modo esemplare. L’imbarcazione era nuovissima, pulita ed efficiente, tanto da consentirmi di governarla pressoché da solo. Ho avuto modo in 7 giorni di esplorare Capraia e nonostante il maltempo che abbiamo affrontato ci siamo sempre sentiti al sicuro sull’imbarcazione e siamo riusciti a visitare buona parte dell’isola d’Elba. Mare stupendo, squisiti ristorantini ci hanno convinto a ripetere e completare questa scoperta, sempre ovviamente con il team del charter. A presto ragazzi.

Bella settimana di vacanza in barca con i figli, bellissimi posti, ottimo meteo e barca perfetta, molto ben tenuta e ben attrezzata per la crociera.

Plenty to do sailing Montenegro

We hired a 34 foot monohull from Simple Sail out of Porto Montenegro, Tivat, Montenegro. This was just for two of us, my wife and I, and for a week. We had a skipper for two days to orient us to the boat and region and he was superb. He even came to give us a hand docking in some heavy winds and contacted us through the week to see how we were going. It was great fun sailing Kotor Bay and out into the Adriatic. The winds were variable with some heavy and light days and the unpredictable northern winds. The region is beautiful and swimming is superb. If you like fishing bring the gear or preplan for it as we did not find a place to hire gear. Remember it is all stern docking in marinas so if you’re not used to it get some practice or use a skipper for a day or two.
