Il problema fondamentale di questa barca è che il motore sopra i 2500-2700 g/min si surriscalda e bisogna spegnerlo per poterlo utilizzare. Questo vuol dire che abbiamo avuto forti difficoltà nel rientrare nel porto di Cagliari con un Maestrale di 32 nodi: con la limitazione di tenere il motore a 2300 giri massimo, tra onde e vento contro, si faceva un passo avanti e due indietro. Non è proprio una bella cosa e ce la siamo vista bruttina.

A big disappointment

My husband and I were told by Marenauta that check-in would happen on certain date and time, we booked flights accordingly, nobody showed up.In the meantime, we contacted Marenauta who confirmed somebody would be with us shortly but this did not happen until the day after. Bed sheets were for single beds while we had a double bed, so they didn’t fit. The boat was not very clean, in the bathroom cupboard there was old toilet paper used by previous people. The dinghy was not usable, we tried it once but after a couple of hours was deflated, we could not use it anymore...despite paying a very expensive weekly fee for the outboard engine and inflating the dinghy every day!!! The pictures of the boat on Marenauta web site were pictures from a different model, we assumed the external GPS as per photos, we asked Marenauta to confirm but never came back... at the end there was no Navigation screen outside. One of the batteries burnt, we lost two more days to get it fixed. The charter personnel was pretty responsive and supportive, however the communication between them and Marenauta and ourselves was very poor.

Our commitment is to provide all the needed information making the booking process transparent and simple.

Regarding the check-in time, we organized the requested taxi transfer and asked the Base manager to organize the check-in in the evening. The Base manager has taken direct contact with the customer, without informing Marenauta, in order to organize the check-in accordingly to the arrival time in the Marina (text message from the base manager to the customer: Dear Skipper, we are confirming your tomorrow transfer. Your driver will be xxxx, you can contact him directly in case of delay to phone nr xxxxxxx. The name of the boat is Summer Breeze and is located on doc 4 and we'll leave it open for you. We will meet on Wednesday morning at 9 in our office in front of dock nr 7).

At the arrival in the marina, we received a call from the customer and we immediately advised the base manager to reach the client in the marina.

The pictures of the booked boat on Marenauta web site do not show the GPS in external. Unfortunately we didn't received any request about this information for the booked boat.

Regarding the claims about the condition of the boat equipment we have forwarded your report to the shipowner as responsible for the delivery of the vessel and we are confident that he will collect this information to improve the level of the future service.

However we will for sure consider this feedback and improve our customer service, thanks again.
