Già in fase di consegna, il personale addetto mi ha avvisato di un guasto del misuratore della catena dell'ancora, del quale ho preso atto. Successivamente, mi sono reso conto che i seguenti dispositivi erano guasti:
auto-pilota, anemometro (segnavento), profondimetro. Infine, la catena dell'ancora non aveva le classiche tacche di profondità.
Ho segnalato i gravi difetti ad Athenian, che ha risposto mettendomi in contatto con il tecnico il quale ha detto che era necessario fare una call in sua presenza con un tecnico RayMarine. Purtroppo tale call non è stata organizzata.
Gli ormeggi in rada sono stati difficoltosi, senza profondimetro, misuratore della catena dell'ancora e senza tacche di profondità sull'ancora. Praticamente alla cieca.
A questo aggiungo che anche l'assenza dell'anemometro ha reso il tutto poco piacevole. Per non parlare della sicurezza.
Al mio ritorno ho contestato i guasti al Base Manager, il quale ha riconosciuto i difetti ed ha ritenuto di offrire uno storno delle spese di pulizia (€170,00) che ho accettato.
Ritengo che Albatros sia stata consegnata al di sotto dei livelli di sicurezza ed ho avvisato Athenian di provvedere prima di affittarla nuovamente.

First of all, the sailing experience was fantastic. The Dodecanese are beautiful and very special. Our route was Pserimos, Kalymnos, Nisiros and then Symi. Beaches, cliffs, volcanos and serenity, And our SO 42i was great to sail. Perfect for 4. On arrival, the base manager was very welcoming, offered good advice on itinerary, and were quick to get us going. Essential when you're eager. We had a few issues along the way, which should be expected from a boat that has achieved a certain age, but both the base manager and Marenauta were very responsive and flexible in helping us deal with the issue at hand, as well as accommodating our preferences. Really professional. And this is also why we're returning customers.
