To the south along the spectacular Lim channel that penetrates like a fjord for about ten miles inland, to get to the beautiful Rovinj , the most "Venetian" of the Istrian towns. The old town, perched on the headland, and remained suspended in time: the tall houses, one on the other overlooking the water, the walls that protect the old city, the narrow streets and tiny squares, the cathedral of Sant 'Eufemia on the hill, built in 1736 in Venetian Baroque, when the city was the most important in Istria, with the tomb of the saint and martyr and a bell tower 60 meters high, inspired by that of San Marco, on which stands the statue of the saint.
