The vacation went well. The only negatives are for the charter company: despite early check-in the boat wasn't ready until after 3 p.m. and wasn't even clean. But the rest went very well.

Great vacation in Greece on a Bavaria 45 — engine and bow thruster were perfect, onboard equipment was adequate, but the chart plotter GPS was illegible. The only serious drawbacks were the autopilot, which stopped working after the first day of sailing and never worked again... Show more

This type of boat has a number of small shortcomings that keep it from measuring up to other similarly sized vessels.
