The Bavaria 40 Cruiser sails well to windward and is easy to sail. The boat is showing its age and cannot quite keep up with newly built luxuriously equipped yachts in terms of interior fit-out. The Bavaria is well equipped and gave us a lot of pleasure.... Show more

Good holiday without problems. The year of construction of the boat was not the one shown at the time of booking (2015 instead of 2017) but the difference was minimal. We appreciated the welcome kit with wine, detergents and more.

Bow thruster did not work. One blackwater tank could not be shut off. Compass covers loose. All data only on the plotter (depth, wind, etc.). Fly screens hanging from the ceiling, etc.

Very late check-in around 6:30 p.m. and no cleaning, as the boat only returned to the harbour very late.
