Excellent holiday, with a last-minute dark spot

Reservation by Marenauta was good, with a good communication. The local charter provided for timely transportation from the Catania Airport to Portorosa and return, with a stop at Taormina on the return. The boat (and the entire fleet) was new and delivered clean and well equipped (security, cords, galley stoves, towels, etc..). The dark spot came from the insurance concluded via Marenauta (we did 2: one in case of cancellation, and one for the deposit, in case of damages, losses, etc..); it happened that during the navigation we have lost a cushion, for which the charter asked us €200. The request came on Friday evening, when we brought the boat back to the base. Besides their claim of answering 7/7 h24, there was no way to communicate with the insurance before Monday h 11.00 am (two days later, when we had already paid the €200 and flight back home). When we did, we found out that the insurance not only did not cover our specific case, but the list of exclusions in the contract (sent automatically via email after the payment of the insurance) was so long and broad, that it actually covers NOTHING (in principle, it shall cover the deposit, so everything that has an impact on it). We will never make a EIS Insurance again, and I recommend to avoid this insurer. Also, I recommend Marenauta to find a different partner for the insurance, as this is a very bad one.
