The area offers paradise spots that could hold dream fish, but pressure from commercial fishing forces you to move well outside the archipelagos for any chance; I recommend renting boats suitable for long passages.

Really beautiful places with ample anchoring possibilities and some marinas.
Picturesque villages such as Patmos and Symi, unpredictable natural landscapes such as Nisyros.
Only downside: with a boat under 40 feet it is still difficult to visit the islands both north and south... Show more
