Check in process was a disaster. Although I arrive at the boat at 13.00 and they promise to speed up check in process so I get the boat at 17.00, the base crew did not finished till 19.30. This was a bad start which created a lot of tension and nervosity to me and the crew.

Dear partner,
The client started the check in at 18:00, exactly according to the charter contract that we have signed.
We understand that he might be very disappointed but we were not only disappointed but devastated.
He managed to entangle his propeller to the anchor chain of a moored boat and not only….
The yacht came back as a disaster with many damages. We indicatively state the following:
1. Damaged Bow thruster
2. Two broken hatches
3. Torn bimini
4. Marks from hitting on the bow, at the keel and on the propeller of the yacht
5. Damaged propeller cutter
6. Two bended stanchions
7. Destroyed speed indicator sensor.
Thank you.
This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Marenauta.

Could be much better
The boat was very beautiful but we had several problems with the battery and energy that were not solved. The end of the trip we suffered a bribe from a diver that told us that if we do not pay him some money, he would tell the Marine that we had a piece of rope stuck in the propeller (that we didnt, we made sure of that, we dive under the boat before to check if was all okay) and since we did not accept that absurd situation, we needed to pay 200€ for the marine because of what he said. It was a very bad and annoying situation that the company was aware of this, an employee watched the diver make the proposal and pretended to not see it.
We have chartered a lot in Australia and many areas ofthe Mediteranean. Last year we chartered a very well maintained Dufour 460 for 5 adults and 2 of our 20 something children - and had a fabulous holiday; the islands all had an amazing different character - Lipari , Salina , Panarea and - well worth a visit if not to windy to Filicudi Mooring field.
Marenauta were super helpful and we will definately charter again through them.
Our family rented a 40 ft Lucia Pajot catamaran from Autremer Concept in Le Marin, Martininque in late December 2023. The office staff in Autremer was very nice and helpful in all areas. The briefing was very complete, and the boat was clean. Our sail around Martinique had no accidents. Even so, Marenauta’s offer to us was a 2020 40 foot Lucia Pajot catamaran and we were given a 2018 model which had been used so many times that different items inside and outside were broken or off their hinges. On our sail, the hose in the outside shower sprouted a hole and we lost precious fresh water. The windlass with the anchor lost a bolt (bolt was already loose) and we had to stand on the box to not lose the anchor. One of the toilets’ tank and overflow tank had not been flushed out in so much time that the toilet got clogged up and we flushed out the excrement for a good long time. The gage to measure the fresh water tank did not work. The boat looked un-kept, but it was clean. The design of the boat is great and even has a salt water faucet in the kitchen sink to wash dishes. The navigational equipment worked just fine. Our only observation is that the boat lacked good upkeep.
