I consider Milazzo the most convenient base for the Aeolian Islands. Excellent choice of base. All in all the boat is in order, spacious and comfortable, but so many details are wrong. It's almost new but looks like a 15-year-old boat. Minor maintenance is either not done or... Show more

The base is perfect for reaching Elba, and in the channel there is always a bit of wind for sailing. You can go to Elba and return to the base within half a day.
The marina is beautiful and comfortable, although luggage carts are missing.
