From Castellamare to Ponza  
I arrived in Castellamare with many doubts and little certainty, but everything went for the best. The boat was in good condition, perhaps with room to improve general cleanliness a little, but we were satisfied nonetheless. Unfortunately wind and weather did not help us for the first 2 days of the holiday, so we were somewhat chasing our destinations, but the rest of the holiday was all optimal. We were happy with the staff at check-in and check-out... the only downside was the forced return on Friday by 5.00 p.m. (considering that they deliver the boat on Saturday at 5.00 p.m.), which means losing a day of holiday, especially since sleeping in the marina given the heat and the mosquitoes that massacred us was very hard and ruined the end of our break. It would have been enough to mention that the marina is overrun with mosquitoes so we could have brought material to keep them at bay. For the rest, all good

A charter not to be repeated  
The boat, Shibumi, was a few years old, but the maintenance left much to be desired: every night at 4am the battery would drain and the alarm would go off, even though we had always motored due to lack of wind; the charter promised us a replacement all week but never carried it out, a bathroom handle fell off every time it was opened, the anchor winch constantly needed to be adjusted while operating, the forward toilet drain was defective... in short, a charter not to be repeated
