In due settimane con base a Marsala contavamo di avere a disposizione un'ampia gamma di destinazioni: non solo le Egadi, ma pure Pantelleria, Ustica, le Eolie... Invece una volta a bordo ci siamo resi conto che le dotazioni di bordo non permettevano la navigazione oltre le 6 NM. e' stata una notevole delusione. Anche se poi ovviamente ci siamo comunque divertiti molto con le Egadi e la costa sicula, certi particolari per niente secondari devono risultare molto chiari prima della firma del contratto!

On board of Armenistis, Alimos Marina

We rented the Armenistis sailing boat at Alimos Marina and sailed for a week (Egina, Poros, Hydra and Sounio). The Alimos Marina is a huge marina, with hundreds of charter boats. The mooring places are good enough to leave and enter the marina. Alimos Marina has a direct bus from the airport and metro to Athens city center. To refuel, you must call a tank that goes to your place. Nice feature, when returning from vacation, because you don’t have to stay in a line to refuel. We spent 100 liters. The fuel price is not so good (around 2,00 € per liter, for diesel). The check-in and checkout were easy with the charter company, but the boat could be better prepared. The cleaning was not so good, the sailing cables were a mess, and there was no water in the tanks. The overall experience was excellent.
