Insufficient boat condition and missing communication

Dear Marenauta-Team, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide feedback. To be honest, I had expected to hear from you proactively, especially since I reported a number of serious issues during the charter. My experience was unfortunately far from satisfactory. The condition of the boat significantly affected our trip and fell well below what I would expect from a professionally managed charter operation. The following message was sent to the charterer, who assured me that it would be forwarded to you: „Hello Tasos, As we are returning to Gouvia tomorrow, I wanted to inform you in advance about several issues we experienced during the charter. Unfortunately, the condition of the boat was disappointing and below expectations. To help avoid similar problems for the next crew, the following points should be checked before the boat is rented again: * The main battery is extremely weak. Even with almost nothing running, the voltage quickly drops to 11V, triggering the alarm at night and waking us up. We regularly had to run the engine while anchored. * The boiler is leaking, which flooded the bilge with hot water. As a result, we could no longer use hot water. * We assume the freshwater tank is leaking, as the tank is empty after a day despite very limited water usage and no showering. * The pump runs unusually long and loud, even with minimal water usage. * The wind sensor at the top of the mast is stuck, so no wind speed is displayed. * The navigation system froze and only worked again after a factory reset. * The onboard displays and panels show information such as water depth irregularly. At times we had to anchor without reliable depth data. * The left control panel cannot be properly used because the enter button is defective. * The shore power cable was already defective and had to be replaced. Otherwise, we would not have had shore power from the first night. * Smaller organizational issues also added to the experience: the promised welcome package was missing, and I did not receive the requested contact information. We documented all issues with photos and videos and can show them to you tomorrow if needed. I understand that minor defects can happen on any charter boat, but I could not rely on several essential systems on this boat. The number and seriousness of these issues are unlike anything I have experienced on previous charters. Given the overall condition and the impact on our trip, I believe some form of compensation or refund would be appropriate. I would appreciate hearing what solution you can offer. Best regards“ To date, I have not received any response, acknowledgement, or statement from you regarding these issues. This lack of communication is disappointing, particularly considering the number and severity of the defects reported. A professional response and a serious review of the situation would have been the minimum expectation. Instead, I am left with the impression that customer feedback and legitimate concerns are not being taken seriously. As a result, my overall impression of both the charter experience and your handling of the matter afterwards is very negative. Based on this experience, I would currently neither charter through you again nor recommend your services to friends, family, or fellow sailors. I would still appreciate receiving your position on this matter and hearing what steps, if any, you intend to take to address both the reported defects and the lack of follow-up communication. Ho noleggiato un catamarano con MG Y. e devo dire di essermi trovato bene, molto amichevoli, cortesi, professionali, DIMITIS è un ottimo manager, risolve i problemi con la massima cortesia e velocità. La barca è stata perfetta, ha avuto un problema ma subito risolto dalla loro assistenza. Senza dubbio da tenere in considerazione per le prossime uscite in Grecia. Grazie

Manutenzione, Pulizia e servizio migliorabile

Il check in è stato molto semplice e rapido. La barca, Bavaria 45C oltre ad esser molto sporca aveva cime di ormeggio insufficienti, vecchie e quindi poco pratica e sicure ( ormeggio e cime a terra ). Al secondo gg si è bloccato un WC elettrico e non sono riusciti a raggiungerci per sistemarlo. Probabilmente si trattava di un fusibile peraltro non presente a bordo come scorta.

La nostra esperienza con Marenauta è stata molto positiva. Ho già fatto diverse vacanze in barca a Vela,e questa è la prima con Marenauta; dal punto di vista dell'imbarcazione posso tranquillamente dire che la barca era perfetta, nessun imprevisto mai..super curata e tenuta in ottimo stato, barca comoda e accessoriata, nella quale abbiamo potuto muoverci e disporre di tutto in totale libertà, cosa che non accade sempre. In merito ai posti visti , essendo stata già più volte in quelle zone , non abbiamo visitato luoghi da woww ne ho visti di più belli nelle scorse esperienze, probabilmente con lo skipper , bravissimo per carità, non ci siamo intesi precisamente sul genere di posti che avremmo preferito, si belli ma a volte un po troppo di comodo probabilmente dovuto al fatto che secondo me al mattino salpavamo con un po troppa calma, o forse sarà che l'ultimo giorno ci ha un po lasciato l'amaro in bocca, perchè l'abbiamo trascorso lontani dalla costa quasi in mezzo al mare con un bel vento sostenuto che ci ha solo fatto pensare che sarebbe stato meglio rientrare il prima possibile, quando conoscendo la zona c'erano sicuramente luoghi più confortevoli e affascinanti nei quali ancorare. Considerando che noi eravamo un gruppo super affiatato , che non c'è stato nessun problema in barca, cosa non sempre scontata, posso in fine dire che nel complesso uno buona esperienza tranquilla divertente ma la prossima volta mi aspetto altro.

Buongiorno, la vacanza è andata bene, ma abbiamo avuto una serie di problemi Per prima cosa, non c'era la barca prenotata, e non abbiamo avuto preavviso. Al suo posto c'è stata data un'altra imbarcazione più piccola, 45, e con un bagno in meno. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato delle soluzioni per fare la spesa che erano delle vere e proprie truffe, non ci hanno dato indicazioni utili a tal fine. Il supermercato vicino al porto, e quello nel quale ci hanno portati avevano prezzi assolutamente eccessivi, una persona prima di noi ha speso per due carrelli 750 euro, noi ci siamo limitati a comprare il minimo. Ma sarebbe stato utile ricevere qualche indicazione. Abbiamo fatto un'assicuzione per coprire la franchigia, al costo di 350 euro, pagati in contanti e senza alcuna ricevuta fiscale, con uno scoperto di 600 euro che ci è stato trattenuto integralmente: la randa si è strappata vicino al bordo, e penso fosse già stata riparata e comunque penso che uno strappo sia dovuto all'usura, inoltre ci hanno detto che abbiamo toccato il timone, cosa assolutamente non vera.

Settimana indimenticabile

Siamo partiti da Porto Alimos per girare le isole Saroniche,tutto è andato anche oltre le nostre aspettative. Il nostro catamarano "Serendipity" devo dire che è tenuto molto bene ed è tutto funzionante. Il nostro skipper Manolis poi ha reso la vacanza unica e la sua professionalità ci ha regalato serenità nel viaggio. Marenauta è una compagnia seria ed è sempre stata pronta a rispondere ad ogni nostra richiesta o dubbio dalla fase di prenotazione fino al check-out.

La nostra vacanza è iniziata in arrivo all'aereoporto di Lefakada accolti dal transfer organizzato dalla società di charter che ci ha trasferito al porto dove siamo stati accolti dalle signorine e in modo eccellente ci hanno fatto partire con il Benetau 51.1 "Brando". Charter in grecia con catamarano

Ottima esperienza, Grecia con mare meno bello della Croazia ma con popolazione molto più accogliente e simpatica. Prima volta in catamarano, per me che ho sempre avuto barche a vela la conclusione è che è ottimo per comfort, spazio disponibile, basso pescaggio, niente rollio, ma non è navigare.

Ho trovato la barca che mi è stata assegnata in sostituzione di quella prenotata, causa l'intervenuta indisponibilità di questa, ben attrezzata e ben tenuta, malgrado l'età. Si è inoltre rivelata molto efficiente in mare. In particolare i proprietari sono stati molto gentili e premurosi nella consegna. Ottimo servizio.

13 giorni di navigazione, 1^ settimana con bel tempo, vento teso/fresco e mare mosso molto, impegnativa ma ricca di soddisfazioni. 2^ settimana sempre bel tempo soleggiato con vento moderato/teso e mare poco mosso/mosso, navigazione tranquilla e rilassante. La barca prenotata non era disponibile ed è stata sostituita con una “Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 - JASON del 2020), unico neo la randa non era steccata. Barca ottima in navigazione, ma impegnativa nelle fasi di ormeggio. Buon lavoro a tutti. Dario Betta

Mit dem Cat im Reich von IO

Wind und Wellen waren etwas mehr als sonst vom Ionischen Meer gewohnt. Unter diesen Umständen ist ein Monohull immer die bessere Wahl. Trotzdem, die Lagoon 40 war voll funktionsfähig und hat ihren Zweck bestens erfüllt. Paleros ist im Gegensatz zu den großen Marina-Stützpunkten (z.B. Levkada) ein angenehmer und überschaubarer Kontrast. Alles etwas familiärer, friedlicher und doch mit Vollversorgung. Auch die Base und deren Abwicklung hat einen persönlicheren Touch. Gemütlich ruhig und doch kompetent. Der Early-Check-In hat auch gut geklappt. Boot, Ausrüstung und Technik waren bestens gepflegt. Somit gab es während der ganzen Woche keinerlei Probleme. Das Revier (wer es nicht kennt, sollte es kennenlernen - außer er/sie liebt den Ritt in der Ägäis) ist und bleibt eines meiner bevorzugten Ziele. Abwechslungsreiche Inseln und Häfen und noch immer wenig Kosten fürs Anlegen. Gerne wieder und auf bald.

Bellissimi posti con molte spiagge e rade. unico neo i porti: sono poco attrezzati (senza corpi morti e senza elettricità). Unica eccezione la marina di Lefkas e la baia di Sivota. Le rade più belle sono spesso affollatissime e dare le cime a terra può non essere sufficiente per passare la notte tranquilli. Il servizio di Marenauta impeccabile.

Segelurlaub ab Lefkas mit Lagoon 380

Sehr schönes Gebiet, zu unserer Zeit mit wenig Wind aber alles andere war sehr schön.nette Buchten zum Ankern und Baden. Es gab nur ein wenig nachgeschmack mit dem Vercharterer MC, bei der Rückgabe und Tauchgang unter dem Boot,wurde eine Stück Angelleine aus den Propeller geschnitten, wir waren dabei, Arbeitszeit 2. Minuten und uns wurden 80€ berechnet.das ist aus unserer Sicht nicht OK. auch andere Mieter wurden zur Kasse gebeeten immer nur Beträge unter SB. Wir werden nicht mehr bei MC chartern. Ansonsten war der Urlaub ohne Probleme das Boot war OK es gab spatanisches Geschier aber sauber war es.

Grecia stupenda

Ottimo giudizio del broker marinata, molto meno di mg yacht, armatore. La barca noleggiata a causa della età 2009 aveva diversi difetti di manutenzione. Alcuni sono stati rappresentati e benché abbiano cercato di rimediare ci hanno condizionato la vacanza(fornello non funzionante, ogni sera a cena fuori!). Al rientro hanno rinvenuto delle piccole righe sulla fiancata destra e ci hanno addebitato 150 euro dalla cauzione. Pessimo rapporto con la clientela!...hanno provato ad imputarci altri danni ma da addetto ai lavori avevo preventivamente controllato la barca anche nell'opera viva!

Pessima accoglienza dell'armatore. Imbarcazione mal tenuta, strumentazione (gps) guasto fin dal primo giorno, salpancora (barbotin) difettoso, luci interne alle cabine "in corto". Al check out addebito di un graffio sulla pala del timone di dubbia attribuzione al nostro noleggio.

Dear,
The client was reprimanded for delivering the boat late on Saturday when he should have been back Friday evening and had to pay for a scratch on the rudder which he denied even though a divers report was given to him from the previous charter. The boat has 4star certification on Yachtbooker and good reviews from the charters before and after this client. If the windlass was defective the client would have informed us on the trip and we would have repaired it immediately. The same applies for the GPS. In fact no-one sails for 2 weeks on a charter yacht without GPS and windlass as he claims.
The reaction is probably due to the final charged on the card which is upsetting

Un'ottima vacanza.

Ottima assistenza da parte di Marenauta, bellissimi luoghi, tempo stupendo. Marina Lefkas è ben organizzata, fornita e la compagnia di charter è stata disponibile, molto scrupolosa e competente. Unico appunto da fare: i bagni del Marina potrebbero essere più puliti. Ad ogni modo è consigliato sia Marenauta, che la compagna di charter.
