Reservation by Marenauta was good, with a good communication. The local charter provided for timely transportation from the Catania Airport to Portorosa and return, with a stop at Taormina on the return. The boat (and the entire fleet) was new and delivered clean and well equipped (security, cords, galley stoves, towels, etc..). The dark spot came from the insurance concluded via Marenauta (we did 2: one in case of cancellation, and one for the deposit, in case of damages, losses, etc..); it happened that during the navigation we have lost a cushion, for which the charter asked us €200. The request came on Friday evening, when we brought the boat back to the base. Besides their claim of answering 7/7 h24, there was no way to communicate with the insurance before Monday h 11.00 am (two days later, when we had already paid the €200 and flight back home). When we did, we found out that the insurance not only did not cover our specific case, but the list of exclusions in the contract (sent automatically via email after the payment of the insurance) was so long and broad, that it actually covers NOTHING (in principle, it shall cover the deposit, so everything that has an impact on it). We will never make a EIS Insurance again, and I recommend to avoid this insurer. Also, I recommend Marenauta to find a different partner for the insurance, as this is a very bad one.

Il personale di Marenauta è stato eccellente nel seguirci e supportarci fino al momento della partenza, veramente bravi ed organizzati. Il Charter locale si sono dimostrati molto efficienti, peraltro dovendo sostituire la nostra imbarcazione all'ultimo momento perché era rientrata danneggiata dalla precedente settimana. Sostituita con barca analoga quindi tutto bene. Ottima accoglienza e barca a posto. Pronti a rispondere su WhatsApp ad alcune nostre richieste durante la vacanza. Bravi a tutti !!

Tutto ok, siamo restati molto soddisfatti.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in den Schären vor Stockholm. Zwar hat es auch einen Tag geregnet und der Wind war meist nur mässig, aber wir haben die wunderbare Landschaft dennoch sehr genossen.

Grazie a Marenauta che per il quarto anno consecutivo ci ha dato la possibilità di organizzare la nostra vacanza (mia e di mia moglie) in barca a vela in Grecia! Quest’anno siamo tornati alle Cicladi che sono isole meravigliose che ti si piantano nel cuore e non vanno più via! A maggior ragione a inizio ottobre quando là è ancora estate ma non ci sono né la ressa di gente e barche nè il Meltemi che può insidiare la tua vacanza. Grande stima anche per la compagnia che è come sempre una ottima società di charter con personale simpatico organizzato e competente. Vabbè che dire...grazie ancora e al prossimo anno! Pirovac is nice location, people are friendly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Marina is nice, but cleanliness of the sea in marina is not on expected level. I think that port authority should insist on usage of black tank for all boats inside of marina.
