Kornati Island's Archipelago - part 2
Departure Murter - This itinerary clashes with the cruise from Zadar (Kornati), but it also covers some pints of Sebenico Archipelago. We suggest you to sail north-west from Murter, or from Betina or Jezero towards Zut (15 miles).

Day 1° Zut - Even if the best-know place in Zut is the harbour's bay, we point out the beauty of some little bays in the noth-east part of the island. For the fist day you can stop here, if you have found a strong mistral. As far as Kornati islands are concerned, you can follow the instructions of the itinerary starting from Zadar, and we suggest to spend the second third and fourth day among Telascica, Vrulja, Piskera, Zakan and other spots of the national park. It is worth visiting the Kornati Islands for more than one day: this way you'll have the chance to appreciate the real charm of such pearls made of rock, plunged into a crystalline blue sea.

Day 2° Telascica (Dugi Otok Island) - At the end of this day, you'll be in front of the Kornati Islands' national park. To get in you can choose between two ways. The first you find is Mala Proversa: this passage, which was widened 20 years ago, is now safer and broader than Vela Proversa, which is to the south of the first. When you've passed the passage, turn right and enter for about 3 miles along Telascica. According to the wind, you can find a safe mooring sight in one of the 15 inlets of the bay. You can walk to the salt lake and up to the cliff that faces the open sea and is part of the peninsula at the south end of the bay.

Day 3° Vrulja (Kornati) - Now plunge in the Kornati world. Keep to hand a nautical map and get inspired by the myriad of these little islands. We suggest you to spend the night in Vrulja, a little village where you can moor along the wharf.

Day 4° Piskera (Kornati) - After you have visited the whole Kornati Park, you'll reach Marina Piskera or Zadan wharf. There are many other possibilities: Kravljacica, Levrnaka, Lavsa. On the Kornati Islands, it is possible to find restaurants in the inhabited bays.

Day 5° Murna (Zidje Island) - In the foruth day's afternoon, steer to Samogradska vrta and moor at Zirje. Murna is the principal harbour and is located in the north side of the island. The breakwater is reserved fort the liner ferries but you can find a place along the west banks of the harbour. During the night, have a walk in the village, up to the end of the fields, through lands inhabited since the earliest times. The south-west part of the island is beautiful as well and if you decide to visit it, you can spend the night in Vela Stupica or Mala Stupica on the south-east cape of the island. The following day, sail past th north of Kakan Island and drop anchor into a small bay where you can find Veli Brnjak and Mali Brnjak: this is a nice place for a bath in the afternoon.

Day 6° Primosten - Before sunset, you have to sail for about 13 miles to reach Primosten. Here you ca find a long breakwater and, behind it, there is room for more or less ten boats and the moorings like in a marina, are supplied with water, electricity and berths. Along the seashore promenade of this colourful town there are restaurants, taverns and coffee bars. In Kremit (Peles Harbour), the first bay to the south of Primosten, there is a big and well-equipped marina with a filling station.

Day 7° Kaprije - To cut into two part the way back to Murter - which is 30 miles away- in the evening you can moor in one of the little harbours in the Sibenik Archipelago: the green Zlarin, the unique Krapanj, Prvic Luca's little harbour, the picturesque Sepurine, the lonely Tijascica or the quiet and sandy Krapije.
